Since 2007 the international Fair Stone team accompanies natural stone importers in Europe and their suppliers in Asia. In 2014, the non-profit association Fair Stone e.V. was founded.
Some members are from the former Fair Stone Steering Group. They offer important advice and make decisions regarding the label and the standard. They assess if Fair Stone criteria are balanced and have a broad impact. They supervise advancements and support Fair Stones public outreach.
Additional experts consult the Fair Stone team regarding worker´s safety, human and workers rights as well as environmental protection.
